Moon - Hand Painted Art Tile
$45.95I made this Renaissance era half Moon design as a match for my Renaissance Sun design. I really like his face and the beautiful turquoise crystals that sporadically explode in the deep purple sky.

Siamese Cat - Hand Painted Art Tile
$45.95Siamese Cat - Picture above is my Siamese cat but I have the same design done as a solid White cat or a solid Black cat (see thumbnail photos) Please specify your color choice. Cats, cats , cats – you can’t get enough of them. Delicate and soft these furry felines are so sweet- looking taking a “cat nap” on the wood floor with a flowered wall paper pattern behind them.

Mono Lake
$45.95I have kayaked this very salty lake whose only fish is brine shrimp ! The islands in the lake are where seagulls nest and breed. Osprey also make nests on top of the tufas but must fly to other fresh water lakes far away to provide fish for their chicks.

Black & White Cat - Hand Painted Art Tile
$45.95I call this my “Van Gough” Tuxedo Cat because the iris flowers in the background remind me of one of Van Gough’s famous paintings. Such a cute face – it’s hard to believe they really do look like that!

Polar Bear - Hand Painted Art Tile
$45.95Actually I must give credit to my son, Jeremy for this polar bear’s design. He drew this bear in class during high school as a proto-type for one he would be eventually carving out of soap stone. It was such a playful yet elegant design that I “borrowed” it from him. After all this is a family business and we all chip in! Due to climatic changes in the ice patterns up North the polar bear is currently listed as a threatened species.

Garlic - Hand Painted Art Tile
$45.95The truth be that we were trying to get accepted into the famous Garlic Festival in California and so I did a garlic design to increase our chances of getting into the show with our tiles. I couldn’t find a suitable picture of a garlic clove so I used one fresh one right out of my kitchen and it is amazing all the nuances of color that I found on that one little clove. It is my “plein air” garlic clove!

Sea Otter and Pup - Hand Painted Art Tile
$45.95Now I have first- hand experience with these guys! Along the California coast near Monterey I was able to put in my kayak and paddle amongst the kelp beds and saw several pods of sea otters floating atop the water. Some of them even had little pups on top of their stomachs as they floated on their backs in the water. They like to entangle themselves in the kelp beds to help anchor them. I saw and heard one of them using a rock to hit a mussel in order to open and eat it. They are considered an endangered species and have a very limited habitat.

Dog Sled and Musher
$45.95They still utilize these dog sleds up in the frozen north in Canada and Alaska. I rode on one last December up in Fairbanks Alaska and it was a "real hoot" !
