Maple Leaf - Hand Painted Art Tile
$47.95I think that leaves are intricately beautiful with all their delicate webbing and lovely colors. We have a small Maple Tree in front of our shop and I looked at it closely and saw the bean-like seed pods hanging from it which I had really never noticed before. After many color schemes I was able to portray the multi layers of colors that exist simultaneously on one leaf when it begins to “turn” multi-color in the Fall. The Japanese characters on the tile say “Japanese Maple” as these trees are very much revered in Japan.

Chickadees
$47.95ALL TILES: *Can be hung on the wall as a painting or used for installation... *Can be used as a hot plate as the tiles are "fired" to 1800o F in our kiln *150 designs to choose from - all tiles are 6"x 6" *Are individually hand painted in the USA and are my own original designs so each tile is unique Chickadees live all over America including Alaska. They do not migrate and are able to withstand -50 degree F living inside holes in trees and subsisting off of frozen insects. There is an area near me up in the Sierra Nevada mountains called Chickadee Ridge where during the Winter snowy months the Chickadees fly down from the trees to eat out of your hands birds seed or even your tuna fish sandwich

Mermaid - Hand Painted Art Tile
$47.95These mythological aquatic creatures have a human head with the torso of a woman and the tail of a fish. Derived from the old English word for sea (mer) and for a woman (maid) these legendary sirens of the sea are known to sing to sailors to enchant them. They are widely represented in literature and folklore and remain popular in our culture today. I perched my little blonde mermaid on a rock overlooking the sea.
